TLC is committed to protecting the environment. We are "Reducing Our Environmental Paw Printâ„¢" through eco-friendly business practices, including the use of recyclable shipping cartons made of post-consumer recycled fiber and recyclable pet food packaging

Most pet foods are packaged today in plastic lined paper bags.  Unfortunately, as the paper bag has a plastic liner glued on the inside and a thin coating of laminate on the outside, the package is neither recyclable nor readily biodegradable, and thus must be sent to your local landfill.   TLC believes such wasteful packaging negatively impacts our environment, and that such packaging should be avoided.

TLC Whole Life Natural Pet Food is therefore pleased to announce its goal to reduce the Environmental Paw Print of its products. Starting in spring of 2008, TLC Whole Life Natural Dog and Cat Foods will be packaged in recyclable plastic bags, as pictured.  Thus, where recycling facilities exist, our customers can divert their pet food bags from the landfill to meaningful use by future generations.    

TLC’s home delivery shipping cartons include at least 50% recycled material, and are made of 100% recyclable cardboard. 

TLC believes in taking ownership of its packaging and environmental paw print throughout the product lifecycle.  Therefore, if recycling facilities do not exist in your area, please send the empty packaging postage paid back to TLC, and we will ensure that the packaging is recycled on your behalf.
